31. (S1E31) Meditation: Kindness

Today’s meditation focuses on kindness. Kindness is our natural state of being. Even when it feels like we live in a cruel world, we can find elements of kindness around us and we can certainly give kindness to others.

Wayne Dyer talked about research showing one simple act of kindness, directed toward another improves the functioning of the immune system and stimulates production of serotonin – which is the feel-good chemical in the brain – in both the recipient and the person extending the kindness. Kindness given, accepted or even observed as a third party beneficially impacts your physical health and feelings.
